2022 is the year you take the time to invest in you. However you choose to connect to the things that bring you joy, help you learn or heal, this is the year to pay attention to what you need. As a busy mom and small business owner, I too suffer from falling on the sword. Putting the needs of everyone before my own and this leads to burn out. I found taking moments to reenergize, refocus and connect to the deepest parts of my soul, help me want to be more creative, more in tune with my family and with my work. In the past I would feel so selfish and lazy if I took time for myself and that led to a road of stress and exhaustion. I realized I would work better, make my family happier, and make better choices with my diet when I felt rested.

I encourage you this year not to place a series of unrealistic goals or over plan your schedule because it is the month of resolutions. We are still in a pandemic and there are so many things around us pulling us in all sorts of different directions.
Be kind to yourself.

Better rest, better diet and a better way to get exercise in your life is so important during these times. As we forge forward in this new year I wish you to find the necessary balance in your life that stabilizes and sustains you for the years to come.
