It’s 2019. A brand new year and traditionally the time to set brand new goals. But what about taking a moment to be proud of goals you've accomplished so far? Life is not a race, so if you are caught up in getting somewhere you may miss what it took to get to this moment.

As you consider your health and where you feel you need to be, just remember that a 'fit' and healthy person can be any size, shape or age. Start using your clothing as an indicator of inches lost or gained instead of the scale. The scale is not an accurate measure of the work you are doing. And change your personal perspective of what you believe is a healthy looking body.

The beauty of being human is that we aren't carbon copies of one another. The differences are what truly make each
of us beautiful.

Try to eat less sugar, get good sleep, find ways to reduce your stress levels and move your body every day this year. You’ll be happy you did.

Happy New Year!
