TAB NEWSLETTER

Is spring really this close? Time to restart your engine, reboot your attitude and refocus on the goals. TAB will also be doing these things so we'll be ready for April. We will be hosting classes in different locations and continuing to live the example that exercise should be mindful, functional and a whole lot of fun!

Please stay tuned for the April events as they will be posted later in the month. Pre-Registered Workshops will be held in the neighbourhood so you are not rid of me yet!

  IN FOCUS

Hello my friends, my TABBIES I want to take a moment to thank you for six amazing years at 274 Jane Street. I am so blessed to know all of you and though I may have been the one in front of the class, you've all taught me so much.

The Art of Balance was a dream that started in my kitchen and moved to 274 Jane. Now will transform into something new. When TAB opened with one client and a prayer I had no idea we would collectively create such an amazing community full of support and spirit, encouraging one another to be the best we can be.

It’s tough to say goodbye to this space, but TAB is just pivoting and our philosophy will continue to find a way, and to be a part of the lives of this community.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me into your lives and letting me work with you.

Love and Light,
Rhonda

YOGA MATS
We hope to see you many times this month and that you have many times to use your mats. Please note, however, that unclaimed mats and personal items will be gathered at the end of the month and donated.

TAB PASSES
We will continue to sell cards of 5, but please note all cards will expire March 31st so please use your passes as they will have no value after that date, without exceptions.

TAB's card system will not exist from April 1st going forward. All classes will become pre-registered workshops.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move into the future. Please email info@tabfitness.ca if you have any questions or concerns.

20 Second Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding
Dairy free, gluten free, vegan and YUM!

A recipe by Kathy Smart
LiveTheSmartWay.com

  INGREDIENTS
3 Tablespoons of whole chia seeds
3/4 cup of chocolate unsweetened almond milk
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
If you have a very sweet palette you can always add a teaspoon of pure maple syrup.

DIRECTIONS
Combine all of the above in a bowl and let sit in fridge or on counter for 20 minutes or leave overnight.
Garnish with fresh strawberries and your favourite nuts and TA- DA!

Eat chia seeds.
Why?

Chia seeds are an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids that help to reduce inflammation in the body and in the gut. Compared by weight, chia seeds have more anti-inflammatory Omega-3 than salmon. They contain high amounts of both soluble and insoluble fibre, and when exposed to any liquid absorb almost nine times their own weight, helping to eliminate toxins and relieve constipation.

How? Add two to three tablespoons of chia seeds to your morning cereal, salads or smoothies. Or, try my recipe for 20-second chocolate chia pudding.
